We made a rose. Not to give away — but to use.

This is the second literary cup in ODDITY's Cup World Series, inspired by Jane Austen.

We took a single rose apart into three layers:

• The outermost layer is the blooming petals — a drinking cup, just the right size for water or tea.
• The middle layer is the heart of the flower — a small cup for sugar, or warm milk.
• The innermost layer is a tightly closed bud — an incense holder. Light it, and smoke drifts through the petals.

They nest together into one complete flower. Or you can open them one by one, like unfolding a letter.

Three cups. Three different states.
Like the rhythm of love in her novels: tender, slow to warm, measured, unhurried.

Every layer can be used. Every layer tells a story.
