The original idea was ceramic.

But ceramic has its shrinkage ratio — and we hesitated.

In the end, we chose a different path. One that does something ceramic cannot: it lets the whole piece feel like a rose petal carved from jade — that particular quality of antique jadeite, like a white jade cabbage, cool and luminous.

Under light, it has a beautiful translucency.
Without light, it still holds that sense of moisture — soft, water-smooth, quietly present.

It is not real jade. It can only imitate that texture.
But the form and the color — those we are satisfied with.

We are currently testing two additional versions: one with no translucency at all, and one that is fully transparent. Each will carry a different feeling.
